🔎 What Are Actuators?

Actuators are mechanical‑electronic devices that enable the movement of control valves or dampers.

They convert signals from PLC, DCS, or SCADA systems (such as 4–20 mA, HART, Profibus, Profinet, Foundation Fieldbus) into mechanical motion, allowing the valve to open, close, or perform modulating (proportional) control.
